Textile craft:
thread and cloth
To obtain threads, the Neolithic people used the distaff and the spindle.
The wooden spindle is ballasted by a terracotta or stone « fusaļole » ; it receives thread wound by its rotation with the spinner’s fingers.
The stone « fusaļoles » are made up from a pebble which is worn out to obtain a disc, then drilled in the centre by the rotation of a flint point.
